It was really cool to see how one phase blended with the next, whether it be through the people or activations. It was also great to see guests of The Patch, a program created by Sour Patch Kids to support touring musicians, go from per- forming in such an intimate setting one day to an iconic Austin venue the next. - Farrah Bezner (Halls and Candy, Mondelēz International) I n between showcases I managed to get to sessions at the convention centre. A bat trapped in a conference room before the "How to Crack UK Radio" session meant I got "stuck" outside the room and engaged in conversation with BBC taste- maker Steve Lamacq. Good timing! - Dave Arcari (showcasing artist: Glasgow, Scotland) L otta people knew who I was this year. It was cool to see the music is spreading - Scotty ATL (showcasing artist) 2 015 was my first time playing SXSW. While down there I hope some people discovered my music, but at the very least I think I discovered some things about myself. - Cody Simpson (showcasing artist: Gold Coast, Australia) T o fulfill the dream of stepping on American soil and being able to make it a reality to play there, are the things that you leave you marked for life - .Stendal (showcasing artist: México City, México) I have so many memories of Austin, from watching the Fabulous Thunderbirds at Antone's when I was 15 to playing Austin City Limits with Mom in the '80s to getting to perform with my husband and drummer, Cactus Moser, in beautiful St David's Bethel Hall this year.
