The nation's participation also included an impressive presence by Pro Mexico in the Trade Show, a large delegation from Tecnológico de Monterrey and approximately 20 speakers participating in SXAméricas panels, ranging from a conversa- tion with multimillion selling recording artist Gloria Trevi to panel discussions about the Pacific Alliance (Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru: Better Together) and the "Innovation, the Latin American Way" session. Mexico was also well represented in film, including the Trevi biopic GLORIA, the SXGlobal Award Winning documentary Kings of Nowhere, and the US production Kingdom of Shadows. Acclaimed shorts like Carne Seca and El Porvenir also helped to make it a great year for films of Mexican interest. PanelPicker Launches on June 29 Continuing the tradition of tapping into the wisdom of the SXSW community, PanelPicker will return for SXSW 2016. The PanelPicker entry process for the Music, Film, and Interactive conferences will begin on Monday, June 29, and conclude on Friday, July 24 at 11:59 pm CDT. PanelPicker is an easy, two-step process that gives the SXSW community a voice in what conference sessions they would like to see at next March's SXSW. After the entry process, the public has the opportunity to weigh in by voting on programming proposals and leaving constructive feedback. So mark your calendars and start brainstorming what you want to see at SXSW next year. Stay tuned to sxsw.com for more information as the entry date draws closer.
