Don't miss the iconic Loretta Lynn at Stubb's tonight (Thursday) on the BBC Presents showcase. Tomorrow (Friday), visit The Pandora Discovery Den (located at The Gatsby: 708 E 6th St) to see shows co-curated by the Americana Music Association. Catch Margo Price, Sam Outlaw, Hayes Carll, Jack Ingram and many more at this all-day event. Saturday brings the Interstellar Rodeo to Swan Dive (615 Red River) featuring Canada's The Strumbellas and Whitney Rose, plus many more. To add even more skip in your two-step, finish off your southern tour with Big Machine Label Group as they partner with TuneIn Radio to bring their fresh batch of up and comers to Easy Tiger (709 E. 6th St) on Saturday night, including Brett Young, Ashley Campbell, Levi Hummon, Drake White, Midland and anchored by crowd favorite Delta Rae. SXXpress Passes SXXpress passes allow badgeholders to go to the head of the line at theaters and music venues. During the Film Festival, Platinum, Film and Gold badges will be allotted two passes per day for film screenings. During the Music Festival, Music badges will be allotted one pass per day and Platinum Badges will be allotted two passes per day. SXXpress passes are distributed in Exhibit Hall 5 of the Austin Convention Center from 9am-4pm, daily. SXSW Outdoor Stage At Lady Bird Lake These free and open-to-the-public shows start today (Thursday, March 17) and go through Saturday. This year's performers include Ray LaMontagne, Coheed and Cambria, Wolfmother, and Tejano legends Intocable. Gates open at 2pm today and tomorrow, and at 12pm on Saturday. Spotify Brings Local Social Impact After The Spotify House wraps up at SXSW 2016, materials from it will be transferred to nearby Kealing Middle School, where they will be used to create a music recording studio for Austin students. Kealing Middle School's music production program brings kids from a wide range of backgrounds together to create, explore, and work. This project is done in partnership with local organizations MINDPOP, Rebuilding Together Austin, and of DPR Construction and Acoustic Spaces. Music Videos Our long tradition of screening the cream of Music Video talent returns for SXSW Film 2016. Featured artists include Childish Gambino, Flying Lotus, Vince Staples, and many more. The last screening is Saturday at 4pm, at the Alamo Ritz. Don't miss it! 24 Beats Per Second Film Screenings Open to Music Badges If you're a SXSW Music badgeholder, you now have access to all film screenings in our celebrated 24 Beats Per Second Film Festival category for music-related films. Whether you're interested in blues, hip-hop, jazz, or Japanese Glam, this is a great way to sample the film program at SXSW. Buzz and Award Screenings Did you miss that one film everyone's talking about? Buzz Screenings are repeat screen- ings of those much discussed films that you keep hearing about. We will also be presenting repeat screenings of all Award Winning Films across each category. Both Buzz and Award screenings will be announced via our social media channels, and at sxsw.com/film. Music Closing Party Jonathan Toubin's Soul Clap and Dance-Off returns for the Official SXSW Music 2016 Closing Party, Sunday at Palm Door on Sixth (508 E 6th St). There's a $100 cash prize at stake for the dance-off, with the winner selected by a group of special guest judges. There will also be performances by The Mystery Lights, Baby Shakes, and PMS and the Mood Swings before Jonathan Toubin and Special Guest Record Selector close out the festival with a delicious set of groovy soul 45s.
