48 PHOTOGRAPHY Photography Crew Chiefs: Jonathan, Maggie, Earl, Rita, Robert, Chris,  and Jamie on SXSW Staff Photography Crew Days of Operation: March 7 – 20, 2016 Photography Crew Check In: Meeting Room 1 in Hyatt Place Austin  Downtown, 211 E. 3rd Street. Photography Crew Duties/Areas of Responsibility: The Photography Crew is tasked with  documenting the SXSW experience in  still photographs. Currently, this includes  teams covering assignments for all of the  SXSW festivals (Film, Interactive, Music),  plus the SXSWedu conference. Volunteers  will photograph events based on shifts/ assignments as provided by crew chiefs. Photography Crew Attire and Reminders: Photography Crew Volunteers should  wear their SXSW Photographer t-shirt and  tasteful bottoms. Volunteers will sometimes  be working outside, so be prepared for  changes in the weather, from hot to cold,  wet to dry and everything else in between.   Remember, Austin weather in March can  sometimes be unpredictable and dressing in  layers is a good idea.  If you will be working  before you receive your credential (for  example, you may be waiting for a music  badge, but working during Interactive) you  will need to pick up a working volunteer day  pass from your crew chief. How to Contact the Photography Crew: The Photography Crew e-mail is  sxswphotocrew@gmail.com.  Crew chiefs  or shift leads can be reached during the  festival at (956) 320-0467.  If it's less than  2 hours prior to the start of your shift and  you're going to be late or miss a shift, first  email your crew, and then call the Flake Task  Force at (512) 404-4623 if you're going to be  late or miss the shift.
