46 MUSIC PANELS Music Panels Crew Chiefs: Alex, KC, Shawn, Dennis Music Panels Days of Operation: March 16 -  March 19, 2016 Music Panels Check In: Austin Convention Center (ACC), Room  19AB Music Panels Duties/Areas of Responsibility: Music Panels works with the SXSW Staff  to execute the music conference portion of  SXSW. Our volunteers organize and monitor  the rooms during and in between panels,  escort speakers to the places they need to  be at the appropriate times, and ensure they,  along with attendees, have a comfortable  and pleasant experience during their time at  the SXSW Music Conference. Music Panels Crew Attire and Reminders: Our volunteers will wear their unaltered  SXSW Volunteer t-shirts with pants (no holes  or tears) to best convey the professionalism  SXSW would want us to! Also, we advise  bringing a sweater since it gets a bit chilly  in the ACC. If you will be working before  you receive your credential (for example,  you may be waiting for a music badge, but  working during Interactive) you will need to  pick up a working volunteer day pass from  your crew chief. What Else Should Volunteers Know About Music Panels: By volunteering for Music Panels you have  the opportunity to listen and see the latest  and greatest in the music industry, not  to mention we have tons of fun with our  volunteer family!   How to Contact the Music Panels Crew: Contact one of the crew chiefs via show  phone ASAP if you'll be late or unable to  make a shift. Phone numbers are provided  closer to the event.  The Music Panels Crew  email is sxmusicpanels@gmail.com. If it's  less than 2 hours prior to the start of your  shift, email your crew, then call the Flake  Task Force at (512) 404-4623 if you're going  to be late or miss the shift.
