45 MUSIC AWARDS (AUSTIN MUSIC AWARDS - AMAs) AMA Crew Chiefs: Deborah, Kayla, Elisabeth  AMA Days of Operation: Wednesday, March 16, 2016 AMA Check In: Austin Hilton Hotel, 6th floor landing near  escalator. AMA Crew Duties/Areas of Responsibility: Access is critical as well as taking care of  winners and presenters. Volunteers make  sure that the show runs according to the  schedule and communication is seamless  between show director, crew chiefs and  performers.  Some volunteer duties include:    • Door management    • Line wrangling    • Monitoring access points  AMA Crew Attire and Reminder: Volunteers wear their SXSW Volunteer  t-shirt, tasteful bottoms, and comfortable  shoes with socks. If you will be working  before you receive your credential (for  example, you may be waiting for a music  badge, but working during Interactive) you  will need to pick up a working volunteer  day pass from your crew chief or Volunteer  Central. What Else Should Volunteers Know About the AMA crew: This year the Austin Music Awards is taking  place on the 6th floor of the Austin Hilton in  the Grand Ballroom.  How to Contact the AMA Crew: Volunteers are asked to email the crew  chiefs in the event you'll be arriving late  or missing your scheduled shift. The AMA  Crew email is sxmusicawards@gmail.com.  If it's less than 2 hours prior to the start of  your shift, email your crew, then call the  Flake Task Force at (512) 404-4623 if you're  going to be late or miss the shift.
