42 INTERACTIVE INNOVATION AWARDS & GAMING AWARDS Interactive Innovation & Gaming Awards Crew Chiefs: Justin, Natalie, Ashley Interactive Innovation & Gaming Awards Days of Operation: March 14, 15 and 19, 2016 Interactive Innovation & Gaming Awards Check In: Volunteers who work on this crew will  check in at Austin Grand Ballroom, located  on the 6th floor of the Hilton Austin, 500 E.  4th St.  Interactive Innovation & Gaming Awards Crew Duties/Areas of Responsibility: The Interactive Innovation & Gaming Awards  Crew hosts two events: the Interactive  Innovation Awards and the Gaming Awards,  as well as hosting the Interactive Innovation  Awards Finalist Showcase. The crew also  manages the logistics for a reception  prior to the Gaming Awards.  Some of the  volunteer tasks will be checking badges,  presenting awards, wrangling talent,  registering VIPs, and constructing table  decorations. Interactive Innovation & Gaming Awards Crew Attire and Reminders: Interactive Innovation & Gaming Awards  volunteers should wear the SXSW Volunteer  t-shirt and tasteful bottoms. Volunteers may  be on stage during the performance and  should dress accordingly.  These events  tend to be more upscale in nature and the  volunteers have higher visibility.  This is  your chance to shine!  If you will be working  before you receive your credential (for  example, you may be waiting for a music  badge, but working during Interactive) you  will need to pick up a working volunteer day  pass from Volunteer Central. What Else Should Volunteers Know About the Interactive Innovation & Gaming Awards Crew: If a volunteer is reliable, willing to work  hard, and have fun, this is the crew for  you.  And if you don't know what a dongle  is before you volunteer, you certainly will  know by the time your last shift on this crew  is over! How to Contact the Interactive Innovation & Gaming Awards Crew: Volunteers who work on the Interactive  Innovation & Gaming Awards Crew are  asked to first email the crew chiefs if you are  going to be late, miss a shift or need other  assistance, time permitting. The Interactive  Innovation & Gaming Awards Crew email is  sxiaawards@gmail.com. If it's less than 2  hours prior to the start of your shift, email  your crew, then call the Flake Task Force at  (512) 404-4623 if you're going to be late or  miss the shift.
