SXSW FESTIVAL SHUTTLES The SXSW Festival Shuttle is the free circulating shuttle service that runs between the Austin Convention Center and most Festival Venues. Shuttles leave the Convention Center every 10 minutes. This one- route system helps get you within walking distance of even the most remote Festival Venues. Catch the SXSW Festival Shuttle outside the Convention Center on Trinity Street. HOTEL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES SXSW has put together a great selection of transportation options to get you from hotels outside of the walkable downtown area to the SXSW hub at the Austin Convention Center. CAPITAL METRO BUS SERVICE & AIRPORT FLYER Capital Metro Bus Service is the least expensive way to get around Austin. Daily passes cost just $2 and a variety of stored-value and multi-day passes are available. The Airport Flyer runs every 40 minutes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to within walking distance of most downtown hotels and the Austin Convention Center. Each bicycle, available for pickup and dropoff at sites throughout downtown, comes complete with lights, lock and front basket. PEDICABS Pedicabs operate throughout Austin day and night, mostly in the Central Business District, Rainey Street, and East 6th Street areas. Pedicab drivers are licensed and regulated by the City of Austin Ground Transportation Department and usually work for tips or charge a per-block fare.
