Virtual reality and augmented reality technologies are finding new ways to enhance our ability to perceive the world that surrounds us. In many instances, they are even redefining how we experience the world. At SXSW, the most creative minds and innovative technologies will meet to showcase the future of how the world will function. The use of virtual reality is by no means something "new" for us to expect. In fact, it's already here and thriving at SXSW. Now, we've incorporated augmented reality with other reality- defining technologies in the all-new VR/AR Track as part of Convergence at SXSW. Programming will coincide with the new dates for SXSW Gaming. The overlap emphasizes the strong connection and carryover between these two verticals.
