A one-day program exploring the opportunities and challenges for startups across North America, South America, Spain, Portugal and Central America. The program will consist of a morning Meet Up and a brief welcoming statement to be followed by compelling content highlighting the brightest voices across the geographic spectrum. The afternoon will feature a two- hour pitch competition featuring a selection of promising startups and the summit will close with an evening mixer at Brush Square Park. Startup Village Startup Village brings startups, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovative tastemakers within the SXSW Interactive Festival together to examine a broad spectrum of topics in the startup space, including startup funding, startup ecosystems, and entrepreneurial best practices. The programming track is also the home of SXSW Accelerator pitch competitions that showcase the most cutting- edge startup companies in the world.
