SXSW Trade Show
The SXSW Trade Show is a center for industry
convergence, networking and new discovery. The
four-day event showcases a diverse range of companies
at all levels of the film, music and interactive industries
– from promising startups to established industry
leaders.
Block Party
From 4pm-6pm on Tuesday, March 17, enjoy
complimentary food and beverages from Trade Show
exhibitors as you move from booth to booth at this
pub crawl style networking event.
Next Stage
Next Stage is a highlight of the SXSW Trade Show and one of the premier
venues for cross-industry content, including engaging panels and
presentations, as well as intimate music performances.
This year, visitors will:
• Learn how the newest digital platforms are helping filmmakers rewrite
the rules of mainstream success in "How Next-Gen Filmmakers are
Changing Hollywood"
• Check out a demo session with material alchemist, Lauren Bowker, on
combining science with fashion and art during "S E E T H E U N S E E N."
• Join the discussion on influencing positive impact through art during
"smART Campaigns: Art & Music Driving Social Change" with industry
leaders from The Advertising Council, Clear Channel, Diacom, and Live
Nation Entertainment.
• Gain a new perspective on 21st century feminism and what it means for
the modern day marketplace with We are the X X during "No Underdogs
Here: Changing the Female Narrative."
• Enjoy a special performance from U.K.-based folk band, and official
SXSW showcasing artist, Skinny Lister.
