Here is where you'll find the Indie Corner, Tabletop Experience, PC Arena, Arcade Bunker, and much more. The Gaming Expo is located in Exhibit Halls 1 and 2 at the Austin Convention Center March 15–16, 11am–6pm, and March 17, 11am–5pm. Gaming Awards Ceremony The SXSW Gaming Awards recognize the greatest titles, teams, and individ- uals from across the gaming industry. Winners will be announced at the SXSW Gaming Awards ceremony on Saturday, March 16 at 7pm in the Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Austin Downtown (400 E. 5th St.). This event is open to Gaming wristbands or SXSW badges. The Discovery Stage @ the Gaming Expo The Discovery Stage is back for another year of fan-centric panels, reveals, and announcements at SXSW Gaming. You can expect discussions about the journey of making games, first-look revelations on top upcoming titles, and more — all at the heart of SXSW Gaming. Stay For the Closing Party The party doesn't stop until Sunday, March 17! On the final day of SXSW, stop by the official closing party at Palm Door on Sixth (508 E 6th St.). This free event is open to anyone 21 and up. Catch performances from The Chills, Jonathan Bree, and more. The Closing Party starts at 8pm and will include a DJ to close the night for those who still have the energy to dance by the very end of SXSW 2019. Flatstock 69 Poster Show and SXSW Marketplace Presented by the American Poster Institute (API), Flatstock 69 will display works from the world's top gig poster artists. The show will feature artwork of varying styles, colors, and techniques for sale by the talented artists who created them. Plus, catch SXSW Music Festival artists on the Flatstock Stage. The event takes place March 14, 12–6pm and March 15–16, 11am–6pm in Exhibit Hall 4 of the Austin Convention Center. Now in its third year, SXSW Marketplace is an elevated shopping experience featuring brands like Icebreaker, Aviator Nation, Mokuyobi, Goorin Brothers, Mitchell & Ness, and Topo Designs. The market is located adja- cent to Flatstock 69 in Exhibit Hall 5 of the Austin Convention Center and runs March 15–16, 11am–6pm. World Premiere of The Curse of La Llorona A terrifying folk myth is brought disturbingly to life in this visceral debut feature from director Michael Chaves. Linda Cardellini, Raymond Cruz, and Patricia Velasquez star in this eerie, 1970s-set horror film. The Curse of La Llorona screens Friday, March 15 at 9:30pm at the Paramount Theatre (713 Congress Ave.). Crazy World of Arthur Brown Tour Le Poisson Rouge and Pyscho Fest present a special showcase as part of The Crazy World of Arthur Brown's "50th Anniversary of Fire." The showcase will take place Thursday, March 14 at Empire Garage (606 E. 7th St.). Other acts include Coven, Bambara, Soft Kill, The Comet is Coming, and more. This showcase will be open to Music and Platinum Badges and Music and Showcasing Artist wristbands. Arthur Brown
