Friday's Convergence Keynote: John Boehner and Kevin Murphy The promise of national marijuana legalization will be a key discussion topic during the Convergence Keynote Conversation on Friday, March 15 at 2pm, when Kevin Murphy, CEO of Acreage Holdings, the United States' largest vertically integrated, multi-state cannabis operator, sits down with former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, John Boehner, and Tim Seymour, co-host of CNBC's Fast Money. With medical marijuana legal in 33 states plus the District of Columbia — and with 11 of those states having also initiated adult-use programs — the question of when the rest of the nation will follow suit is on many people's minds. Boehner and Murphy will discuss the likely paths to national legalization, as well as the challenges and opportunities America's fastest growing industry faces today.
