Facilitating new music discovery is our number one priority. Audiences can enjoy a vast variety of musical styles at SXSW with a large portion of our Showcasing Artists traveling from outside of the United States. This year, more than 60 countries will be represented amongst the nearly 2,000 official Showcasing Artists. Official SXSW Music Festival Showcases will take place in the evenings – this year from Monday, March 13 through Sunday, March 19 – and are co-curated by record labels, booking agencies, management and PR firms, export offices, publishers, media outlets, lifestyle brands, festivals, and more. SXSW collaborates with these industry partners on lineups showcasing brand new, developing, and established talent looking to enhance their careers, gain unparalleled promotional exposure, and reach new audiences.
