68 VOLUNTEER CENTRAL Volunteer Central Crew Chiefs: Trevor, Samantha, Jack, Renee, Emily  Volunteer Central Days of Operation: March 6 – 19, 2016 Volunteer Central Check In: Volunteers who work on this crew will  check in at Volunteer Central located in  Exhibit Hall 5. Exhibit Hall 5 is located on  the northeast side of the ACC, near the  corner of 4th and Red River. Volunteer Central Crew Duties/Areas of Responsibility: Volunteer Central operates in Exhibit Hall  5 and is the hub for volunteer operations  during SXSWedu and SXSW. Volunteers  who work on this crew will assist with  the check-in of volunteers, distribution of  volunteer t-shirts meal cards and perks,  as well as assist with schedule issues that  volunteers may have. Volunteer Central  volunteers will be subject to a host of  questions regarding SXSW Volunteers, and  the event in general. Volunteer Central Crew Attire and Reminders: Volunteer Central Volunteers should wear  the SXSW Volunteer t-shirt and tasteful  bottoms. Remember, the ACC temperature  fluctuates and layering is recommended.  Wear comfortable shoes and socks are  recommended. This crew encourages flair  and fun, so feel free to spruce up your  ensemble with something shiny!   What Else Should Volunteers Know About the Volunteer Central Crew: Volunteer Central is often the first stop for  SXSW Volunteers. A big smile and customer  service will go a long way in ensuring  volunteers start their SXSW experience off  in a positive light. Volunteer coordinators  and interns are never far away, so ask  questions if you are unsure of an answer  to a question or problem. Reviewing the  SXSW Volunteer website prior to the event  is essential to effectively providing correct  information.  It also never hurts to review  sxsw.com for general event information.
