63 SXSUPPLIES SXSupplies Crew Chiefs: Alexia, Cary, Mitch, Tia SXSupplies Days of Operation: March 6 - 19, 2016 SXSupplies Check In: Volunteers who work on this crew will  check in at Production Village in Exhibit  Hall 5 on the northeast side of the Austin  Convention Center. SXSupplies Volunteer Responsibilities & Duties: The SXSupplies Crew supports most SXSW  crews by providing all types of items  including, but not limited to: office supplies,  gaff tape, bicycles, ponchos, and computer  locks.  During the load-in and load-out  shifts, the volunteers will be responsible for  the setup and tear down of the SXSupplies  booth, inventorying items, and organizing  supplies.  All other shifts are during the  festival and the volunteers on these shifts  are responsible for dispensing supplies as  needed to members of other SXSW Crews  and SXSW Staff while keeping the supplies  organized and inventoried.  SXSupplies Shift Leaders work only during  load in and load out. They assist with  setting up and tearing down the SXSupplies  area. They also assist in getting supplies  organized, and to and from the loading  areas. What Else Should Volunteers Know About the SXSupplies Crew: During the load in and load out shifts, the  volunteers will be responsible for the setup  and tear down of the SXSupplies booth,  inventorying items, and organizing supplies.  All other shifts are during the festival.  Volunteers on these shifts are responsible  for dispensing supplies as needed to  members of other SXSW Crews and Staff  while keeping the supplies organized and  inventoried.  This is a laid-back crew that is  perfect for personable volunteers looking to  be behind the scenes, away from the hustle,  and off their feet. SXSupplies Attire and Reminders: SXSupplies Volunteers should wear the  SXSW Volunteer t-shirt and tasteful  bottoms. The crew is located in Production  Village behind Volunteer Central and it can  get chilly. You may wish to bring a light  jacket or sweater due to the temperature  in the booth. There are periods of down  time during many of the shifts, so you may  want to bring something to occupy your  time while you hang out in the booth.  If  you will be working before you receive  your credential (for example, you may be  waiting for a music badge, but working  during Interactive) you will need to pick up a  working volunteer day pass from  Volunteer Central.
