30 DJ TECH DJ Tech Staff: Michael, Aaron, Juan DJ Tech Days of Operation: March 15 - 20, 2016 DJ Tech Volunteer Check In: Volunteers who work on this crew will  check in Production Village located in  Exhibit Hall 5.  DJ Tech Duties/Areas of Responsibility: The main focus of the DJ Tech crew is  to be able to set up and troubleshoot DJ  equipment for the SXSW Showcases we  provide gear for. Volunteers will be sorting  gear in delivery trucks for drop-off, and  assisting stage managers/ engineers with  any DJ gear concerns. This job may involve  you being stationary at a venue looking after  equipment for periods of time. Volunteers  will pick up ALL DJ gear and count  inventory at the end of each night.  DJ Tech Attire and Reminders: DJ Tech Volunteers should wear their  volunteer t-shirt, tasteful bottoms, and  comfortable shoes. There is a lot of standing  and walking. It is a good idea dress in layers  as you'll be inside and outside of venues  during the evenings of the music festival.  What Else Should Volunteers Know About DJ Tech: DJ Tech Volunteers are invaluable as they  make life easier for the DJs. They will gain  hands on experience and have the chance to  see the SXSW Music Festival from a unique  point of view.  How to Contact the DJ Tech Crew: If you need to contact your DJ Tech Staff  Members, you can email them at djtech@ sxsw.com. During the event, you may also  call/text them on their show phone. Please  make sure to call or text and then email your  crew chiefs is you are going to miss your  shift or arrive late. If it's less than 2 hours  prior to the start of your shift, email your  crew, then call the Flake Task Force at  (512) 404-4623 if you're going to be late or  miss the shift.
