Being a filmmaker is about being a content maker, and the festival allows people to co-exist with visionaries who are breaking ground every day. - Sandrine Orabona (Director, Lady Valor: The Kristin Beck Story) A ll year I look forward to my annual trip to Austin for several days of "work-family" reunions, inspirational talks and non-stop par- ties. In addition to all of that good stuff, there is also real work to be done. I've been running an event with SXSW and Urban Airship called Mobile Saturday. The premise of Mobile Saturday is to provide a clear view into how various companies are using mobile to win over their customers, share the challenges they are facing and give a look into where they are going with their mobile strategies. We had five sessions with mobile experts and thought leaders from ABC News, Atimi, Backcountry.com, Bottle Rocket (WPP's OgilvyOne), eBay, Eventbase, Forrester Research Inc., Golf Channel, The Location Based Marketing Association (LBMA), News International, NFL, R/GA, REI, Showtime Networks, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and Urban Airship. Each session had a packed house and amazing energy from both speakers and audience. We had so much positive energy that our hashtag #MobileSat was the second most tweeted hashtag during that day, losing only to Seth Meyers. It was amazing to be a part of such a massive event and be able to make such a big mark. It's only been a few weeks since leaving SXSW 2014 and I am already looking forward to next year's event. - Scott Townsend (Urban Airship) 8 (l-r) Tyler Oakley, Ze Frank, Andy Cohen and Grace Hellbig at the "Super Fandom in the Digital Age" panel 9 Actress Leslie Bibb attends the Take Care premiere 10 Ron Pearlman, director Daniel Stamm, Devon Graye and Mark Webber at the premiere of 13 Sins 11 Neil deGrasse Tyson 12 Jeffrey Tambor and Jason Bateman 13 Nate Silver and Bill Simmons at a SXsports featured session 14 Extreme action architect, Elizabeth Streb speaks onstage at the Born To Fly premiere 15 Julian Assange spoke on Saturday via video link A M A N D A S T R O N Z A A M A N D A G I A N N I N Y / G E T T Y I M A G E S E A R L M C G E H E E / G E T T Y I M A G E S A M A N D A S T R O N Z A M I N D Y B E S T / G E T T Y I M A G E S 11 12 13 14 15
