Nas Celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Illmatic Nas has been celebrating the 20th birthday of Illmatic, the album that ignited his career, with a special edition re-release, complete with demos, remixes and unreleased tracks. The veteran MC is also performing the album in its entirety several times in 2014, having already done so this spring at both Coachella and The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. SXSW Eco Adds CleanTech Global for 2014 This year, SXSW Eco (October 6-8) will partner with leading cleantech cluster group CleanTX to bring a new series of programming and events centered on linking cities with big energy technology in order to build solutions for a low-carbon future. CleanTech Global will offer a showcase of the world's most forward-thinking cities, where sustainability and clean energy form the backbone of urban planning and economic development. Participating cities will set up in the Global Pavillion and offer insights in a series of panel discussions and breakout sessions. This international track of SXSW Eco will culminate in an International Smart Cities Reception on Monday, October 6.
