SXSW has always been one of my favorite film festivals, thanks to the curious audiences, incredible staff and events that make the festival such a unique experience. So many groundbreaking films are programmed each year, and we all work hard and love our craft, but to be recognized by your peers for a job well done makes all the blood, sweat, and tears worth it. Sharing your work is the goal, and for the first time to be at SXSW with the amazing audiences; words can't really describe how much it meant to the whole Butterfly Girl team. - Cary Bell (Director: Butterfly Girl) O ne of the highlights for me was having Mayor Rahm Emanuel visit the Chicago Made exhibit booth on the trade show floor. In addition to the Mayor, President and CEO of Choose Chicago, Don Welsh, stopped by with Chairman of the Board (and former White House Social Secretary) Desiree Rogers. Having some of our top city officials at the Chicago Made booth was a testament to how much Chicago is dedicated to supporting the development of the creative industries and entrepreneurship in the city. - Michael Samm (PR Manager, U.S. & Canada: Choose Chicago) 8 Mindy Kaling 9 Alexis Ohanian during his "Be Awesome Without Their Permission" session 10 Jürgen Klinsmann 11 (l-r) Jonny Mars, Dalton Sutton, Josh Wiggins, Juliette Lewis, director Kat Candler, Deke Garner, Dylan Cole and Camron Owens at the Hellion premiere. 12 Josh Hartnett during the Penny Dreadful Q&A 13 Nicolas Cage and Tye Sheridan at the Joe premiere 14 Having fun at the Accelerator Awards 15 Adam Savage from MythBusters was Interactive's Monday Keynote speaker 16 Actor/comedian T.
