The stage will host and record 33 podcasts in front of a live audience. SXSW Film Outdoor Screenings Return SXSW will again present a free Cartoon Network outdoor screening on the scenic Long Center Terrace on Monday March 12. Vinyl Lounge Back For Another Spin Located between the popular Flatstock Poster Show and SXSW Marketplace, the Vinyl Lounge will host local and international record vendors, vinyl manufacturers, and a selection of merchandise. This area is open to all SXSW badge holders and the general public. Book Readings Expanded For SXSW 2018, Book Readings will be expanded to an hour-long format, followed by a half-hour book signing at the SXSW Bookstore. Topics covered by authors this year include Internet Culture, Mental Health, Renewable Energy and Artificial Intelligence. Next Stage Returns Located inside the SXSW Trade Show, the Next Stage will feature programming from various SXSW Conference tracks. Sessions will include "Mobility Beyond Wheelchairs: Robotic Exoskeletons" from Health; "Connecting Continents: VR/AR in the Global South" from VR/AR; and "Musical IoT Instruments for Digital Nomads" from Touring & Live Experience. Country Music Taking Center Stage at SXSW Keith Urban will be a 2018 SXSW Featured Speaker (Music Culture & Stories track) bringing the Nashville sound to Austin. Other country/americana performers to look for include Joshua Hedley and The Grahams, Jonathan Tyler, Lilly Hiatt, and more to be announced. 2018 Showcasing Artist Updates With the SXSW Music Festival right around the corner, new batches of Showcasing Artists are being released daily. Recently announced performers include Ezra Furman, Low, Smokepurpp, Bad Gyal, Gaz Coombes, Amy Shark, Kimokal and more.
