With a free beer happy hour daily from 3 - 4pm, what is there not to love? Block Party Hosted by Trade Show exhibitors, the SXSW Block Party is modeled after traditional pub-crawls. From book readings, simulcasts and special presentations during Film + Interactive, to unique performances during Music, the Day Stage Cafe is an area of bustling activity throughout SXSW. Visit the bookstore to find their books, CDS or DVDs and get a personal mes- sage inscribed by the author. Connection Center Have questions about Austin or SXSW? SXSW features four multi-functional and highly trafficked Connection Centers. These staffed information stations allow registrants to check their email and gather informational materials. Additionally, registrants can preview official film trailers and learn about showcasing music acts by listening to tunes or perusing bios and pictures. Artists Lounge & Artist Balcony Artist hospitality at its finest! Located in Ballroom E with direct access to a private balcony over- looking downtown Austin, this artists' escape provides a place to interact with peers and colleagues over complimentary drinks.
