Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass to Open SXSW Film 2010! Chloë Moretz The movie tells the story of Dave (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book geek who decides to live out his ultimate superhero fantasy, inspiring a subcul- ture of copy cats. Hunted by assorted bad guys, he meets up with crazed vigilantes: Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz), Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage), and Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), but the alliance is soon tested by scheming local mob boss Frank D'Amico (Mark Strong).
