Since blanketing SXSW in purple and launching the Tungle.me Revolution, Tungle has announced integration with several partners, including (but not limited to) Wisestamp, Plancast, Lotus Notes, BlackBerry and Google Marketplace. Taltopia.com, a net- work for creative talent, just launched an iPhone/ Android application that lets users find and apply to gigs on-the-go. Adobe has been busy preparing for the new launch of Creative Suite 5, which was unveiled in April. Timeless Music Project orga- nized the Yorkshire SXSW Party for a second successful year and helped prove the demand for the establish- ment of "Plugged In," an official Yorkshire Music Network. Film Florida recently extended the application deadline for the Don Davis Film Finishing Fund until May 20. The fund provides completion funding to aspiring Florida-based filmmakers. Available cash grants range from $1,500 to $5,000, with the number of grants varying from year to year. The recipient will be hon- ored at Film Florida's annual meeting in Jacksonville on June 22. Guguchu, the provider of rich web apps for bands, publicly launched its platform at SXSW. COO and co- founder Bernd Strenitz says that the company will "engage in a frequent release cycle, allowing bands to know who their fans are, where they are and how valuable they are as fans." Marcato Musician, a web- based artist management solution, announced at SXSW that its software is now totally free for bands! At SXSW, Elance met with hundreds of people. On Elance, this trend is sky- rocketing and being tracked with the recently released Elance Online Talent Report. Non-profit Road Recovery pre- sented an outreach event at Phoenix Academy in Austin, where Wayne Kramer, Billy Bragg and Casey McPherson shared life experiences and music with students at the school.
