SXSW ORLD / FEBRUAR Y 2012 Each spring, SXSW Interactive honors the vision of Dewey Winburne, co-founder of the SXSW Interactive Festival, with the Dewey Winburne Community Service Award. This award celebrates the spirit of community in Austin that we think is unique to SXSW. An important change for the 2012 Dewey Winburne Community Service Award is that honorees are no longer restricted to being from the Central Texas region. There will be a ceremony on the evening of Sunday, March 11 at St. David's Episcopal Church (301 East 8th St) to honor these 10 out- standing community activists. Admission to the Dewey Ceremony does NOT require a badge, so feel free to bring your friends who may not have reg- istered for SXSW. There will be free food, plus great Austin music from Mother Falcon. Frank Warren to Host PostSecret Event at SXSW Interactive PostSecret, Bluebrain and Fireman Creative team up for an exciting new live mul- timedia performance.
