Introducing the Digital Domain New for 2012, the Digital Domain runs through Tuesday, March 13, and examines how web-based media and platforms are being used to share content by creatives across a range of fi elds, with a keen focus on storytelling innovation. Sessions take place in the Austin Suite at the Austin Convention Center and include innovators like Funny or Die, Maker Studios, IDFA DocLab and Girl Walk // All Day. Gallery The popular SXSW Film Poster Gallery returns for 2012, moving to a new location just outside the Vimeo Theater in Exhibit Hall 2 at the ACC. Displaying posters from fi lms in the SXSW 2012 program, the exhibit runs for the duration of the fi lm event. Don't Miss the Film Poster Don't forget to attend the Film Awards on Tuesday, March 13 at 5pm at the Vimeo Theater to fi nd out the winner of the SXSW Film Design Awards for Excellence in Poster Design! Film Screening Access: Queue Cards and SXXpress Passes, plus Venue Status Boards Our highly successful Queue Card system returns for 2012, allowing early birds (45mins–1hr before screen- ings) to get a numbered card ensuring access as long as you maintain your place in line. The system operates at most of our venues, notably excepting our largest, The Paramount and Vimeo theaters. For more details: sxsw.com/fi lm/screenings/fi lm_access The SXXpress Pass offers Film, Gold and Platinum badgeholders the ability to pick up two tickets per day that allow them to go to the head of the line at specifi c screenings. A limited number of tickets are available the day of the screening only and must be used in combination with a registration badge. The SXXpress pass does not guarantee you a seat, so plan to arrive at the theater at least 30 minutes prior to a screening to be sure you get in. SXXpress passes will be distributed March 10–13 from 9am–4pm, and from March 14–17 from 10am–5pm, on the upper level of the Austin Convention Center near the SXSW Film panels rooms. We will continually update Venue Status Boards at all venues throughout SXSW with the line status for every screening at the festival.
