We have more than 130 of them, most of which you can still check out, including Music Video, SXGlobal and Texas High School Shorts. Expect these programs to fea- ture animation, documentary, narratives and down-and-dirty Midnight Shorts. Don't miss! See schedule for details. Have you visited the Canon Screening Room at the Long Center yet? How about the Violet Crown Cinema? These great venues are a vital part of SXSW Film, and programming will con- tinue through Thursday, March 15. Head to schedule.sxsw.com to see the lineup for all our venues. Before you head to the theater, remember to check the Venue Status Boards, available on our website and at all downtown venues, for information about the line statuses for every screening at the festival. Here is what to look for: GREEN means GO! ................ Lots of seats available YELLOW means HURRY! ....... It's fi lling up fast, so hustle RED means FULL! ..................No need to try this one, it's sold out If you need a ride, you can continue to get around town through Saturday, March 17 using the Film Fest Flyer shuttle service. Free to badgeholders, the shuttle service runs between the Vimeo Theatre at ACC, Congress and 2nd Street (walking distance to Violet Crown Cinema, Paramount and Stateside Theatres), Canon Screening Room @ The Long Center and Alamo South Lamar. See sxsw.com/fi lm for details and updates. Closing Night Film & Performance Not to be missed, Emmet Malloy's documentary Big Easy Express is the closing night fi lm at SXSW Film 2012. Featuring Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Old Crow Medicine Show and Mumford & Sons, the fi lm documents the bands' 2011 tour aboard a vin- tage train, including a stop in Austin. Check it out on Saturday, March 17 at 4pm at the Paramount Theatre. 24 Beats Per Second, Sound & Scene SXSW Film Design Award Winners Don't forget to check out our Film Poster Gallery, featuring the winners of this year's award for Excellence in Poster Design, outside the Vimeo Theater in Exhibit Hall 2 at the ACC. With SXSW Music in full swing, this is a great time to see some of our extensive music-related program- ming.
