Wednesday, March 14 has brought me a completely dif- ferent type of pleasure, so it's great to see others seeking that path. –Adam Donaghey (President and founder: Zero Trans Fat Productions) AMONG THE MANY JOYS OF SXSW, MY MOST PARTICULAR ONE CAME DURING OUR PRE- MIERE while sitting next to our lead actor and my co-screenwriters. There were a handful of jokes that, during earlier test screenings with friends, never got a laugh. So when our SXSW audience laughed loudly at each of said jokes, our com- munal sense of vindication fi lled the Paramount. –Steve Taylor (Director: Blue Like Jazz) AS AN EDUCATOR/FILMMAKER, the experience of participating in workshops and panels with my students was life-changing. I watched my young fi lmmakers fl ourish. At SXSW, these teenagers were able to walk right up to their idols, introduce themselves and walk away with a contact.
