Among many great memories, was one where I somehow managed — within ninety minutes — to dip my toes into each of the three conferences: A coffee with some crazy innovators from Interactive, who pitched me an entirely new way to distribute my fi lm; a quick jog to hear a singer at a bar (who has a song in my fl ick's soundtrack) and then racing -- with that same singer -- to a screening of my fl ick to arrive just in time for the intro. Can't wait to return. –Jordan Roberts (Director/Writer: frankie go boom) OUR FILM HAD FINISHED AND I WAS CALLED TO COME UP ON STAGE. I was overwhelmed by the thought of completing this massive project and it being met with such enthusiasm and passion. I looked around the old beautiful theater and understood that we com- pleted our goal and made the fi lm we always wanted to. At that point, I just tried my best to hold it together. –Jacob Rosenberg (Director: Waiting For Lightning) FROM MEETING MY UX DESIGNER, TO HACKING WITH A RANDOM DEVEL- OPER on my fl ight to Austin who offered me a place to stay, there's no better place than SXSW that embodies the meaning of serendipity!
