Its rich historical background adds an irreplaceable magic and charm to your moviegoing experience that you won't find elsewhere. Don't get scared off by long lines out front. It holds a lot of people! Once inside, be sure to visit their full bar with snacks and enjoy the show. Shuttle stop: Paramount Theatre (801 Congress Ave) VIMEO THEATER 500 Cesar Chavez Street in the ACC, Ballroom A (Entrance by Cesar Chavez St. and Red River St.) 450 seats Located inside the Austin Convention Center, the Vimeo Theater is at the heart of the conference and festival. It's our second largest venue and is within walking distance of the Alamo Ritz, Stateside Theatre, Paramount Theatre and is nearby Rainey Street which is lined with bars and upscale restaurants. In addition to anticipated film premieres, this venue hosts screenings and other special events. By the Vimeo Theater, you'll find the Film Poster Gallery where we showcase and celebrate the collaboration between filmmakers and designers. Here you can easily grab a drink from the bar or a bite to eat before your screening. Not only does it have a parking lot nearby, it's also handily located on the Festival Shuttle route and is only a brief walk from the Alamo Lamar, Rollins Theatre at The Long Center and Long Center Terrace. The ZACH will also be hosting our closing night film! In addition to high profile premieres, this is home to our Narrative Competition premiere screenings and many Midnight Premiere Screenings! Plus, this historic theater has a full bar and snacks.
