Now in its 24th year, the 2017 SXSW Film Festival will host nine days of screenings, featuring provocative documentaries, outrageous comedies, genre outliers, and so much more. SXSW dedicates itself to helping creative people achieve their goals, and the Film Festival has become known as a career launching pad for exceptional talent. Attendees have the opportunity to connect with visionaries from all corners of the entertainment and media industries, making the SXSW Film Festival an unparalleled experience at the forefront of discovery, creativity, and innovation! From March 10th - 18th, you'll have the chance to check out the best available work from emerging talent and film veterans. The full lineup will include 85 World Premieres, 11 North American Premieres, 5 U.S. Premieres, and 51 films from first-time filmmakers. These films were selected from a pool of 2,432 feature-length film submissions, with a total of 7,651 films submitted for consideration this year. READY TO CATCH A SCREENING? It works on a green, yellow, and red system, where green means there are plenty of seats, yellow means it's filling up fast, and red means it has sold out.
