SXSW GUIDEBOOK 2017 3 2 SXSW CONFERENCE CONFERENCE TRACKS CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE) Designed for attorneys, entrepreneurs, C-level executives, and beyond – Continuing Legal Education sessions discuss legal perspectives on industry trends. Attorneys attending may receive up to 4 hours of CLE credit focusing on Film & Interactive issues, and 8 hours of CLE credit focusing on Music (includes 1 hour of ethics). Sunday–Tuesday, March 12-14 Austin Convention Center FOOD The Food track brings together the food community's most inspired entrepreneurs, chefs, data scientists, investors, filmmakers, and enthusiasts to connect and explore ways in which technology can be leveraged to transform the industry. Saturday–Monday, March 11-13 The Driskill JOURNALISM Information and how it gets to us is vital. Sessions in this track explore how news, journalism and analysis is dispersed and how it will be impacted by the future of technology; whether it's streaming and online content, attribution or storytelling – it informs and engages us on multiple levels. SOCIAL IMPACT This track highlights innovative ideas from the creative industries that are contributing to a better, more equitable world.
