12 PRE-SXSW   Logged into shiftboard.com/sxsw, updated your profile information, uploaded a  photo and checked your schedule to verify that your shifts are correct.   Checked that you have enough hours for your perk.   Attended the All-Conference or Music Festival Mandatory Meetings. If not, you  must contact your Crew Manager immediately.   Have a transportation plan to get downtown.   Have a picture ID for check-in.   Paid your bills.   Kissed your family goodbye. THE FIRST VOLUNTEER DAY AND BEYOND   Arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your first volunteer shift to check-in at  Volunteer Central, receive t-shirts, a credential if available, and your meal card.  To save time, you may do this anytime prior to your first shift.   Arrive 15 minutes early for shifts.   Check-in with crew manager(s) before EVERY shift.   Obtain a working volunteer pass from Volunteer Central or your crew manager  if I do not have the appropriate credential for your work area. See your crew  information page in this guide if you're not sure where to get your pass.   Wear your volunteer t-shirt to EVERY shift.   Don't forget your credential at home.   Be on task during your shift.
