2 2 S X S W o r l d | F I L M / I A M A R C H 2 0 1 5 | S X S W. C O M How to Attend Films at SXSW Film entry procedures at SXSW are pretty straightforward, but here's the key info: 1st - SXSW Film, Gold & Platinum badge holders with SXXpress passes for the screening are allowed entry. 2nd - The remaining Film, Gold & Platinum badge holders are allowed entry. 3rd - If seats remain after all badge holders have been let in, Film Wristband holders will be allowed entry. 4th - Single-admission tickets will be sold for $10 starting 15 minutes before showtime (if available). For best results, consult our Venue Status Boards, either at the venues themselves, or online at vsb.sxsw.com. They're a great way to help determine whether a venue has seats available: GREEN means GO! - Lots of seats left YELLOW means HURRY! - It's filling up fast, so hustle. RED means FULL! - No need to try this one, it's sold out. SXSW Music Sessions Open to Film Badgeholders Convergence programming won't end on Tuesday! Film and Gold badgeholders will have access to a number of SXSW Music sessions from Wednesday, March 18 - Friday, March 20. Conversations include "Breaking A Monster: Unlocking the Truth" and "The Residents Document A Theory of Obscurity" on Wednesday, "Ears on Ads: Pitch, Produce & Place Successfully" and "The (Real) Market Value of a Music Placement" on Thursday, "JACO" on Friday and more! Visit sxsw.com/convergence for more info. Make Impactful Connections at the Social Good Hub SXSW 2015's Social Good Hub is the destination for SXSW attendees interested in impact. This year we've renewed our partnership with the United Nations Foundation and are expanding the hub to two days (Monday, March 16 and Convergence Day, Tuesday, March 17), open each day from 9am-10pm. Program highlights include an Impact Investing Debate hosted by Jean Case and The Case Foundation, the IEEE Women in Tech Summit and an in-depth, two-part examination of social entrepreneurship titled "To Hell with Good Intentions" featuring Ashoka Changemakers. Join us at Trinity Hall (311 E. 5th St.) for partic- ipatory programming, networking opportunities and special events exploring the innovative ideas that are bettering communities across the globe. Open to all badges. Episodics, Midnighters and Shorts, Oh My! The exciting work in our Episodics section reveals small-screen innovations on the big screen. Check out The Comedians, iZombie, Mr. Robot and UnREAL, all screening in the Vimeo Theater. Also, SXSW wouldn't be the same without our exciting Midnighters and Shorts programs! Short films are a great way to discover the filmmaking innova- tors of tomorrow, including our Narrative, Documentary, Animated, Midnight and Texas High School Shorts as well as Music Videos. Midnighters are always a highlight, and this year's films include gruesome delights like Excess Flesh, We Are Still Here and HANGMAN. Head to the schedule.sxsw.com or the SXSW GO app for details and times!
