These hos- pitals will host three pitch competitions on Monday in the Hilton Austin Downtown from 9:30am-1:30pm with emcee, Mark Cuban. Ian McLagan Tribute Panel on Wednesday Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame keyboardist Ian "Mac" McLagan brought a joie de vivre spirit to his bands The Small Faces and Faces. It was the same exultant attitude that he shared with all of the musicians he played with, as well as to the community of friends he amassed in Austin, his adopted hometown of twenty years. Mac made no distinction between the rock stars he played with and the friends he made on a daily basis. Mac, who passed away suddenly last December at the age of 69, will be remembered by his pals and co-horts at a SXSW Music panel to be held next Wednesday at 2pm in the Austin Convention Center's Room 18ABC.
