Peelander-Z, the "Japanese Action Comic Punk band
hailing from the Z area of Planet Peelander," has wowed
audiences at SXSW Music for more than a decade with
energetic performances featuring crowd participation,
costumed song characters and the band's own personal
safety-challenging stunts. In advance of this year's SXSW
appearance, lead singer/guitarist and artist Peelander
Yellow shared his thoughts on how his music and visual
art visions combine to create Peelander-Z's unique style.
