Damon Wayans Stand-up comedian and actor Damon Wayans will be part of a SXSW Music Conference session tackling creative thinking from the perspectives of artists as well as businesspeople. The "Breaking Great Art Requires Breakthrough Thinking" ses- sion is happening today (Thursday, March 13) from 2-3pm in ACC room 12AB. SXSW Eco 2014 Announced We're excited to announce the launch of SXSW Eco 2014, where the urgency of global chal- lenges meets the opportunity for breakthrough innovation. From October 6-8, an international community of advocates, experts and creatives will meet in Austin for three full days of insightful speakers and sessions, intensive workshops and mentoring, pitch competitions, networking events and much more. Music Hackathon The first annual SXSW Music Hackathon Championship, where the best minds in music and technology come together to re-invent the music business for artists, bands, and fans, took place yesterday (Wednesday, March 12). Individual Film Tickets only $10 Starting today (Thursday, March 13), crowds for film screenings have lessened, and it is a great time to take advantage and see great films. Films are still screening through Saturday, March 15 at the Paramount, Stateside, Topfer, Vimeo (at the ACC), Ritz 1 & 2, and Rollins venues. Badges always have priority, followed by Film Wristbands. However, individual tickets go on sale for $10, 15 minutes before showtime when seats are available.
