News & Notes DON BENDER Submit Ideas for SXSW Interactive 2014 with the PanelPicker SXSW Interactive is a community-driven event, and that is most apparent in our daytime programming. The bulk of the daytime sessions and speakers at SXSW Interactive come via suggestions and proposals submitted via the SXSW PanelPicker interface. If you have a creative idea for a daytime presentation at SXSW Interactive 2014, be sure to enter it through the SXSW PanelPicker, which opens for submissions on July 1. All proposals entered in the PanelPicker go through a rigorous grading process from the Interactive community, SXSW Advisory Board and SXSW Staff. Enter Interactive Awards and SXSW Accelerator Starting in August A goal every year at SXSW Interactive is to shed light on the new talent, ideas, services and trends in the digital community. Through the SXSW Interactive Awards and SXSW Accelerator, SXSW Interactive is accomplishing this goal. Entries will be accepted for both of these competitions beginning in August. There are great audio and video highlights available on the SXSW website, including streaming audio from many daytime sessions from SXSW Interactive 2013. Just go to schedule.sxsw.com and find the page for the session that you want to listen to. If audio is available, there will be be a link at the bottom of the session description. In addition, you can point your browser to sxsw.com/interactive/on-demand to see videos of several of 2013's keynotes and featured speakers.
