GLEN BROWN TEXAS FILM IMAX Corporation and Chinese Theatres announced an agreement to add an IMAX® theatre to the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood through an extensive transformation of the landmark site. The addition gives Hollywood its first IMAX® theatre, providing fans with a moviegoing experience that will rival any in southern California. Once complete, this will be IMAX's largest auditorium in the world in terms of seating capacity, and its third-largest commercial theatre screen in North America. Attendees were able to listen in on Sennheiser wireless headphones. Several thousand people attended the three-day event, which featured live interviews with actors, directors, cinematographers, musicians, video game designers, software developers, comedians and others. The topic of sound and music—and the irrevocable and integral role it plays in creative content creation—was highlighted. Released weekly, "Fanticipation" ranks fan excitement around upcoming and current movies based on Fandango's proprietary data collected from its online and mobile traffic, the social media engagement of its fans and its advance ticket sales. In addition to being shared on the site, "Fanticipation" will also be featured in Fandango's new original digital video series, Weekend Ticket. S X S W O R L D / M AY 2 0 1 3 Getty Images, Inc., a leading creator and distributor of still imagery, video and multimedia products, announced a partnership with Percolate, a technology company that helps brands create content at social scale, to launch a copyright-compliant content inspiration solution for brands. Images licensed from Getty Images will be integrated into a brand's Percolate publishing workflow, removing any copyright infringement concerns while facilitating scalable content creation. Percolate intelligently recommends images based on keywords, colors, events and a brand's interest graph, inspiring brands to create highly relevant and real-time content for their social platforms. Andrew WK At our 10-day SXSW 2013 marathon, IMAGEMeetandGreet met Shaquille O'Neal and others at our trade show booth and hosted events with Andrew WK, Playtex Fresh & Sexy and nu metal band maNga. We introduced our company's Personalized Autograph Experience to hundreds of companies, artists, agents and managers. It was a great way to soft launch our service and our mission to fight autograph fraud.
