I caught one of the greatest shows of my life witnessing Alt-J at Stubb's. I was also fortunate to meet legendary guitarist Phil X, and Bohemian Guitars will be building a custom oil can guitar for him. I wasn't sure what to expect going into my fi rst SXSW, but I guarantee I'll be back next year. - Adam Lee (Bohemian Guitars) --- -SXSW 2013 was unique because you got to see some living legends and some of the hottest new hip hop artists on the planet. If someone is reading this and wondering if SXSW is worth the money where else can you see P.Diddy, T.I., Snoop Lion, Prince, Big Krit, Master P and Kendrick Lamar all in one city for the price of a wristband or a music badge. I can't wait until next year! - John Russell (Presenter: ThaFixx) MICHAEL BUCKNER / GETTY IMAGES KCRW's night showcase ended in epic fashion this year with Australian DJ duo Flight Facilities encouraging the crowd to storm the stage for a dance-off to their version of Stealers Wheel's "Stuck in the Middle of You." It was pure unadulterated joy, and and there wasn't a single still person in the room. - Rachel Reynolds (KCRW: Santa Monica, California) Angel Haze at the Last Call with Carson Daly Showcase at Cedar Street Courtyard SXSW Interview: Jim James JAMES CANO M AT T S M I T H Actresses Catherine Keener (left) and Fallon Goodson at the screening of Maladies.
