MICHAEL BUCKNER / WIREIMAGE Passion Pit played for a packed crowd at the Hype Hotel, and for an online streaming audience, during Taco Bell's Feed The Beat event on Monday night. SXSW 2013 roared through its first weekend as Film and Interactive events kept downtown Austin buzzing. South of Lady Bird Lake, SXSW Gaming closed with a blowout party at the Palmer Events on Sunday night, while the Long Center hosted popular convergence sessions, which brought together personalities who blur the lines between conferences. Meanwhile, some of the country's top comics kept SXSW Comedy audiences laughing. Thousands of Music attendees arrived on Tuesday, revving up with opening panels and showcases, while Interactive registrants packed the Interactive Awards as well as Tuesday's closing parties and social events. SXSW Film also crowned its 2013 award winners and wrapped up its conference sessions on Tuesday, though the festival continues with screenings through Saturday. Back at the convention center, the SXSW Trade Show has given way to the Music Gear Expo and Flatstock. Music conference sessions and performances continue at a breakneck pace through Sunday, showcasing the talents and insights of a multitude of diverse artists, speakers and music-industry insiders from around the world. The Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau brought its mobile visitor's center to the SXSW Trade Show.
