WELCOME TO SXSW 2013 Months of anticipation gave way to collective excitement as SXSW 2013 kicked off on Friday in a whirlwind of informative events, workshops, film premieres and parties galore. Attendees from around the world converged on Austin for the launch of Interactive, which continues through Tuesday, and Film, which runs through Saturday. With an eclectic assortment of happenings that embody the innovation and inspiration that participants bring to SXSW each year, the next several days promise more contagious good times. And with Music still set to kick off on Tuesday, the fun has really only just begun. Visitors rode the mechanical bulldog at BBC America's Roadhouse, located in Brush Square Park.
