SXSW Event Access Once again, your badge allows you to experience sessions from all 22 Conference Tracks, as well as Film Festival Screenings, Music Festival Showcases, and special industry parties and events, with our primary and secondary access system. See all event access details online. Simulcasts and Encore Sessions: Overflow rooms will be available for simulcasts of a selection of Keynotes and Featured Sessions. Some popular sessions, showcases, and films will be repeated during the course of the week, so you won't miss this season's compelling content. SXSW Event Navigation Tools With your SXSW Badge purchased and SXSW Social account linked, begin your preparations by downloading the SXSW GO mobile app. Now you are ready to dive into event tools, registrant tips, and more. Event Status (GREEN-YELLOW-RED): The Event Status tool makes it easy to check the current status of a room or a venue's remaining capacity on the SXSW GO mobile app or the online schedule. FAVORITED BY: See how many people have starred any session, showcase, or screening on the SXSW GO mobile app or the online schedule. SXXPRESS: SXXpress (South by Express) is a digital pass program for SXSW registrants that allows enhanced access to Music and Film Festival program- ming, and select Conference programming. Getting Around during SXSW SXSW works with a variety of transportation services, providing a comprehensive selection of options that help you commute within your individual budget and needs. Getting Around SXSW Events: Austin blocks are just a one-minute walk in the downtown area. Grab a pedicab, jump on the bus, or hail a rideshare if you need to give your feet a break. SXSW Festival Shuttles: This free one-route circulating shuttle system runs with stations at the Austin Convention Center on Trinity Street and within walking distance of most SXSW venues. Shuttles run from 9am–3am daily, with peak service hours between 9am and 7pm. When the event begins, you can track festival shuttles in real time on the SXSW Go mobile app and at shuttles.sxsw.com. Late-Night Transportation: SXSW events often go late into the evening. CapMetro, the city bus line, offers multiple late night services with extended service hours during SXSW. Or use on-demand services for your late night ride home. Getting to and from Downtown Austin: If you're not staying downtown during SXSW, use on-demand services, charter a van or bus for your large group, or catch one of CapMetro's many routes from outside downtown. Airport Transportation: Options to get to and from Austin Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) include CapMetro's Airport Flyer, on-demand services, or chartered ride services.
