Travel & Transport The Austin Convention Center is the hub of all things SXSW, and attendees can walk or bike to most of the other content spread around downtown Austin. There are many other available options for attendees to get around SXSW. Shuttles, buses, pedicabs and the occasional taxi can all help get you to where you need to go in a timely manner. Daily passes cost just $2 and a variety of stored-value and multi-day passes are available. The Airport Flyer runs every 40 minutes from Austin Bergstrom International Airport and within walking distance of most Downtown hotels and the Austin Convention Center. Interactive Venue Shuttle The Interactive Venue Shuttle is a free service for Interactive, Platinum and Gold Registrants. The Interactive Venue Shuttles run every 5–10 minutes, between 9am and 7pm, and stop within close walking distance to most Interactive Venues. There are three routes designed to get you to your destination as quickly as possible, all departing from Trinity and 2nd Street, outside the Austin Convention Center. Film Venue Shuttle Film Fest Flyer SXSW will be running a free circulating Film Fest Flyer for Film, Platinum, and Gold registrants, from 9:30am - 2:30am from Friday March 8 - Saturday March 16, between the Austin Convention Center, the Paramount Theatre, the Rollins Theatre, and the Topfer Theatre. Catch the Film Fest Flyer at Trinity and 2nd street, outside the Austin Convention Center. Bicycle Rentals Bicycles are a fast and efficient way to get around central Austin. SXSW offers SXcycles, a complimentary bike share program for registrants. See sxsw.com for more information. In addition, several companies in Austin rent bicycles by the day or by the week. Most offer delivery to the Austin Convention Center or your hotel as well as service and maintenance. Pedicabs Pedicabs operate in downtown Austin day and night. Pedicab drivers are licensed and regulated by the City of Austin Ground Transportation Department and work for tips from passengers. Catch a Chevy at SXSW! Keep your eyes peeled for shiny new Chevrolets with "Catch-A-Chevy" signage outside the Convention Center at 3rd and Trinity. Flag one down! They can take you to lots of official SXSW events.
