FAZI MTA Festival's China Showcase China's MTA Festival is at SXSW 2018 to present an official music showcase on Thursday, March 15, at 3Ten Austin City Limits Live (310 W Willie Nelson Blvd, Ste 1A). The lineup for MTA Festival: China Night is packed with a diverse set of talent encompassing electronic, punk, indie rock, and folk. Acts include Second Hand Rose, Moxizishi & Jikehabu & 3He Project, FAZI, Subs, and Shao. Radio and International Day Stages Between sessions at the Austin Convention Center during SXSW Music, be sure to stop by the Radio Day Stage, International Day Stage, and Flatstock Stage. The Radio Day Stage in Ballroom D will be home to showcases presented by KCRW, NPR AltLatino, KCSN, VuHaus, and 101X, while the International Day Stage in Ballroom G will host perfor- mances by artists from Norway, Australia, Japan, Canada, and more. IN BRIEF Sunday Softball and BBQ The 2018 South By Southwest Closing Barbecue and Softball Tournament, happening on Sunday, is free to Music and Platinum Badges and open to the general public (with food and soft drink tickets available for sale). Registrants must bring their badge and photo ID. Any Platinum or Music registrant can play in the SXSW Softball Tournament. Performing artists with performing artist wristbands can play as well; one player per band. If you did not sign up in advance, you must register in person from 1-5pm, Thursday or Friday, at the Player Registration Table on Level 4 of the Austin Convention Center, next to the Day Stage. Take advantage of the rare opportunity to work directly with music industry experts.
