Alexandra Dickinson, CEO and Founder of Ask For It, which teaches people to negotiate, will lead the "Time's Up on the Gender Pay Gap: How to Negotiate in 2018" workshop which is designed specifically to help women develop strategies to achieve income equality. Cities Summit Alexandria Lafci, Co-Founder of New Story, has made it her goal to put technology into the hands of the devel- oping world. During the "Building Inclusive Cities in Emerging Markets" session, Lafci will discuss New Story's work with Ruben Cenea, a Haitian, who survived the 2010 earthquake and is now project manager of New Story's housing programs. She'll also discuss New Story's investment in 3D printed housing tech. Making Film Episodics "The Live Score - Bridging Film, Music, and Gaming" will highlight the conver- gence of the film, music and gaming industries. Featuring Stuart Brown (British Film Institute), Joel Mills (The British Film Council), Laura Ducceschi (producer of the Dear Esther video game/ crossover experience) and Adrian Utley (guitarist for Portishead), this session will look at the growing space of eventizing film and video game experiences. Style Sustainability is a prominent theme in the Style track with session topics such as technologies that are revolutionizing fashion for the greater good in "Sustainability and Ethics in Fashion Technology," the potential of bioengi- neered fabrics from spider silk to lab-grown leather in "How Bioengineering Fashion Can Change the World," and the session that speaks to the fashion world at large with the most far-reaching consequences: "Ethics in the Luxury Market: The Human Element." Film & TV Industry Ever wonder what machines can tell you about gender stereotypes in film? Data scientists Grace Lin and Monica Landers from Storyfit will dig deep into what data says about the film industry in "Sex & Text: Breaking Down Movie Stereotypes w/ AI." This session is a great crossover session for attendees also interested in the Intelligent Future, Code & Programming, and Social Impact tracks. LGBTQIA+ (Series of Sessions) As part of the Social Impact track, the LGBTQIA+ series of sessions will examine topics such as community alliances, the gender spectrum, activism, visibility, the movement towards equality, and will highlight people who live openly. These sessions will take place on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11. Among the many sessions are "After PULSE—Creating an LGBTQ+ Alliance in Orlando," "Diversity in Tech: It's Not Just a Gender Problem," "Beyond Boxes: The Intersex Case for Intersectionality," "LGBTQ Representation in Cinema," and "TransVisible in Texas: Develop A Media Campaign." Brands & Marketing The Brands and Marketing track includes six sessions featuring Facebook personnel: Andrew Keller will talk about community in "How to Create at the Speed of Feed." Tutti Taygerly and panelists will discuss "What Followers Want: How Social Evolves in 2018." Jeff Taylor will join others from Glossier, Spredfast, and the NFL in "The Secrets of Cult Brands. Helen Crossley and Yini Guo will discuss consumer habits in "Reading Signals: The New Segmentation." Tomá Beczak and Ann Mack will present future trends in "Facebook IQ: The 5 Consumer Shifts Shaping 2020," and Megan Summers will be part of "Increasing CTR with 1:1 Content Marketing."
